Bio

Hi! My name is Kyle and I'm a hobbyist musician.  I'm originally from the great state of Michigan, but I moved to Ohio after getting married to my high school sweetheart in 2008.  We lived in southeast Ohio for a couple of years before taking the leap of faith and setting out to find our dream in North Carolina.  We've been in the Triangle area since August of 2011 and are glad to be here.  It's a long way from home and family, but we're quickly making Raleigh our new home.

I've been surrounded by music for as long as I can remember.  I started taking piano lessons and singing in choirs in elementary school, but my passion has always been the guitar.  I taught myself to play in middle school and have been at it ever since, playing in various bands and such since high school and helping to lead worship at our churches in Michigan and Ohio, and now here in North Carolina.

I started playing at a local farmers market while living in Ohio, as well as a little diner on the weekends.  I enjoyed the farmers market gigs so much that when we moved to North Carolina I immediately started seeking out the local markets.  Lucky for me I have been fortunate to play regularly at a handful of markets around the Triangle.

When not playing music I work for UPS at RDU international airport and enjoying my wife's company as we settle into our NC home.  In the near future I'll be joining the other students at North Carolina State University to finish my education degree.  Oh yeah, I also love craft beer, and North Carolina, luckily, is "The Southern State of Beer" so there's a lot of taste exploration going on.  Cheers!

Bel isi,
